I convey the philosophy of my works through deep emotional immersion and animation of the landscape genre. Is it possible to tell the story of a person through the cracks of walls, broken metal, broken windows, in which traces of forgotten lives and destinies can be seen?

interdisciplinary artist

I was born and spent my childhood in a small village on the banks of the northern Lena River.

It is an enchanted place where space and time seem to disappear, engulfed by icy longing. An endless cold silence. Human life outside civilization with real feelings and freedom, freedom to be yourself.

That's why my works always have a lot of open space, a lot of air and sky, which helps to focus the viewer on the main aspects of the work.

When starting a new work, I study the color, the details that make up the whole. Based on my feelings, I first of all try to focus on the emotional context of the painting. I do not copy reality, but transform reality to achieve a stronger artistic effect.

I use canvas and oil, traditional fine art materials. I like the sense of texture and layering of paint on canvas because it duplicates the texture of rusted metal, old machinery, and stones in abandoned buildings that have been destroyed by the winds of time. They have their own special beauty, elusive and fleeting, like a long-forgotten melody that awakens only the echo of memories.

I use rich contrasting colors, energetic strokes and an expressive style of painting that reflects my strong emotional penetration into these spaces of solitude. In many of my works the horizon line is lowered so that the viewer can enter and feel himself in this total solitude

We are so afraid to be alone with our thoughts, without protection, without armor from our daily to-dos and problems, because this total ringing emptiness, speaks to us about the most important questions of humanity.

Art Series
A foreign land

A series of industrial landscapes in which each work is a portrait of the author's emotional state in different periods of time. The works are interconnected by means of text, which represents thoughts and impressions of different moments of life.

The aim of this project is to convey a sense of the borderline state between memory and reality. Often memories are more truthful to us than real life. Every emotion adds new shades to being, so each person sees the same picture differently. In this case, only you yourself can decide which reality is more real

At sunset, the wind blows straight through the bony skeletons of the pipelines. They sleep to the deafening hum of the wires and dream vivid mechanical dreams

The pipes in the pink glow of dawn are someone else's dream. The factory finds its iron indestructible flesh only on the edge of the northern night, penetrated by the icy wind. I know there will be no sun for a long time.....

The night sky is scorched with fire from the jaws of invisible dragons. It's so hard to breathe. I feel as if I've inhaled a hundred red-hot needles at once....

TIME OF FIRE

It was as if a yellow haze had covered this long and idle day, in which everything was wrong: a missed call, a sleepless night and cold tea - small annoyances that stuck in the head and created an aura of anxiety, like a cloud wrapped in a stuffy yellow fog...in which drowned and distorted sounds, blurred the boundaries between reality and fiction
